College graduates with an advanced level of Chinese language study are invited to apply to the Hopkins-Nanjing Center M.A.I.S. and Certificate programs. Students may apply to the Certificate, M.A.I.S., or to both programs. The Application - Application form

Dates
The application deadline is February 1, 2010. We encourage applicants to submit their applications prior to this date, if possible, so that we have time to send notification of missing materials. Students should take the CAL / HSK and GRE (if applicable) before mid-January so that scores arrive to the Washington Office before the deadline. Please go to the "apply now" section of this website to begin the application process. The Admissions Committee will notify applicants of its decision by late March. Those who are accepted and who intend to enroll must submit a non-refundable matriculation fee of $500 by April 21 to reserve their place. Orientation materials will be sent by June 1. Checklist for Applying to the HNC Take the CAL or HSK exam If you are applying for the M.A.I.S., take the GRE or GMAT. Use the SAIS code of 5610 to request official scores. Send the evaluation forms to two people who will write your recommendations. These should be sent by the recommender directly to the Washington Office. Recommenders can also submit letters through the online application. Request official transcripts from any institutions at which you've taken courses and have them mailed to the Washington Office. Complete the application form and essay(s). Complete the financial aid application form. Pay the application fee.
