Why Hire From HNC?

The Hopkins-Nanjing Center graduates students from the United States and other countries who are equally proficient in Chinese and Chinese students who are professionally proficient in English.  Through an innovative target language curriculum, students are well-prepared to enter careers in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

Employer Services:

Posting a Job or Internship

HNC staff members can now post job and internship opportunities directly on our Web site and on SAIS job database - SAISWorks. All job postings to this database are free and will remain posted for 30 days unless otherwise advised. Please contact Katherine Nagel for more information.

Resume Book

Every winter, the HNC collects student resumes and incorporates them into a Résumé Book.  The Résumé Book for the 2008-2009 academic year is now available.  Please contact Katherine Nagel for your copy.

Meeting with Students

We welcome employers at our Nanjing campus.  Presentations can be either formal or informal and often range from auditorium style presentations complete with any needed technical support to informal meetings with smaller groups of students.  To arrange a visit, please contact Jan Kiely.

Career Day

Annually, the HNC hosts a Career Day that attracts more than 100 students.  Employers are invited to join different sector panels where they have the opportunity to provide Center students with a candid "insider's view" of their occupations, and discuss skills necessary to succeed in their fields.  If you are interested in participating in Career Day 2010, please contact Katherine Nagel.
